  • Description: A member of the Resistance during the Nazi occupation finds refuge in the house of a girl who lives with her father. But a traitor blows the whistle, and the man is transported to a German concentration camp. The girl he loves considers him dead and struggles to raise their little girl on her own. After years of hard work in Germany, he returns to Greece, blind, and becomes a street musician, unaware that his sweetheart is alive and that he has a daughter. The girl is involved with a young man who helps the blind man see the light again and reunite with his family.
